Happy Halloween 2011

My boys are definitely not big fans of dressing up in costumes and posing for pictures. This is great practice for me; A challenge. Not only do I have to get myself and the boys ready, get the location set up, keep the kids organized, set up the camera, but i also have to try to get a good picture. I didn't get the "Perfect" shot, but I think they look great, and would be proud to show these off. Oh wait, I am!

Tucson Photographer, Horse Rescue, October 2011

I had a wonderful day photographing the horses, owner and volunteers at Hoofprints of the Heart Rescue. It was so neat to be able to get inside the pens with these marvelous, beautiful animals, and talk to them, touch their glossy coats, and take their portraits, especially knowing that they had come out of situations where they had been abused and hurt by people, only to be turned around into the healthy happy animals they are today.  The people were all lovely too!

The Maxwell family were kind enough to let me in to their home today to photograph their two kids, and mom and Scout the dog even joined in the fun. Julia was a master of silly faces, but I managed to capture a few serious looks from her all the same.
